The short answer
Useful answers, local options and the details to check.
Can a full cage of soil be collected?
Do not judge soil by cage volume. The legal payload and safe handling limits can be reached much earlier. Send quantities for a weight-led assessment.

Branches and cuttings
Photograph the spread and height of the pile, including material behind it. Explain whether the waste is loose, bagged or tied. Do not mix chemicals or unknown liquids into green waste.
02 / Good to know
Soil, turf and rubble
These materials are assessed by weight as well as volume. Wet soil and turf can be particularly heavy. Give approximate quantities and bag sizes without trying to lift an unsafe load for a photograph.

Fencing and shed materials
Old timber, fence posts and concrete bases are different materials. Show each separately. A shed dismantling enquiry needs photographs of the structure and roofing; suspected asbestos requires a specialist.

Compare routine and one-off collection
A regular garden-bin service may suit ongoing green waste. A one-off mixed load or substantial clear-out may need another route. Check what the council accepts before choosing a private collection.
