The practical details for builders’ waste removal — before you decide to book.

What does this service include?

A planned collection for non-hazardous renovation waste, with dense materials and separated waste streams assessed before loading.

What can be collected?

Timber, packaging and renovation debris; Rubble and soil subject to weight checks; Plasterboard identified separately; No asbestos, chemicals or contaminated materials. Acceptance and scope are agreed before booking.

What cannot be collected?

Asbestos, toxic or contaminated material, chemicals, clinical waste, gas bottles, explosives and unknown liquids are excluded from ordinary clearance. Specialist appliances, upholstered items and heavy materials must be identified and accepted separately.

How does collection work?

Send item and access photos with your full postcode. We assess the load and receiving requirements, agree a quote and collection slot, then carry and load only the agreed items from safe access points.

How should I prepare?

List material types and approximate quantities. Keep plasterboard visible and separate where practical. Show parking, loading distance and heavy bags. Do not move a heavy or unsafe item just to take a photo.

Do I need to be present?

You or an authorised person should confirm the items and provide access. An unattended collection must be specifically agreed in advance, with safe access and an unambiguous remove list; do not assume it is available.

What access information is needed?

Show the material piles, bags and legal loading point. Tell us about site induction, steps and how far heavy bags must be carried.

What affects the price?

Rubble and soil can reach payload limits before filling the cage. Plasterboard and mixed construction waste can also change receiving charges; do not price this solely by visual volume.

What happens after collection?

Identify plasterboard separately and disclose suspect materials. No asbestos, contamination or unknown chemicals are accepted as ordinary construction clearance.

Can you take asbestos from a renovation?

No. Suspected asbestos, contaminated materials and chemicals are outside this service. Arrange an appropriate specialist and do not disturb suspect materials.

What alternatives should I consider?

A suitable skip may suit ongoing renovation or large dense loads. County household DIY allowances are not a free disposal route for a contractor’s business waste.

What should I do next?

Call 07912 343234, Monday–Friday 9am–6pm, or prepare a photo enquiry. Include the full item list, postcode and access. An enquiry is not a confirmed booking; wait for an agreed scope, price and slot.

01 / Good to know

Describe the materials, not just the pile

Tell us the amounts of rubble, timber, plasterboard, packaging and metal. Mixed renovation waste can need different handling from a light household load. Photos should show the full amount and any separate bags or containers.

02 / Good to know

Heavy waste may need a different solution

A cage van has both a volume limit and a payload limit. Rubble and soil can reach the weight limit while much of the cage still looks empty. For substantial quantities, compare a skip or another suitable heavy-waste collection.

03 / Good to know

Keep specialist materials separate

Identify plasterboard and any potentially hazardous material before collection. Do not hide unknown substances under ordinary debris. Your quote should state the accepted materials, the loading arrangements and the documentation required for the job.

Keep the project moving

A clear scope.
A tidy finish.

The crew removes the agreed items from safe access points and loads the van. Disposal type, weight and access are assessed before the collection.

Asbestos, chemicals, clinical waste, gas bottles, explosives and unknown liquids are outside ordinary clearance. Specialist items need separate agreement.
