Frequently asked questions
Straight answers before you book.
Questions about quotes, lifting, timing, accepted waste and disposal, with practical answers for your collection enquiry.

Ask about the actual load, access and item types. A useful answer needs more than a rough van size.
How is the price worked out?
The main factors are volume, weight, loading time, access and the type of waste. Photos from several angles help the team give a realistic quote before collection.
Do I need to move everything outside?
No. Point out what is going and the crew can do the lifting and loading from the agreed rooms or outdoor areas, subject to safe access.
Can you collect today?
Short-notice slots may be available depending on the route and job size. Call or send your postcode and photos to check the earliest collection.
Is a man and van better than a skip?
It is often simpler for one-off clearances: the team loads for you, you pay for the agreed load, and no road permit is normally needed. A skip may suit heavy waste produced gradually over several days.
What happens to the waste?
Waste is taken through authorised disposal routes, with reusable and recyclable material separated wherever practical. Ask for the carrier details and relevant paperwork for your job.
Do you take asbestos or chemicals?
No. The service is for non-hazardous waste. Asbestos, chemicals, clinical waste, gas bottles, explosives and unidentified liquids need a specialist contractor.
Can you clear commercial premises?
Yes, subject to the waste type and access. Offices, shops, landlords and trades can request timed collections and the appropriate duty-of-care paperwork.
