The practical details for garage clearance — before you decide to book.

What does this service include?

Stored furniture, old packaging and years of unwanted garage clutter cleared with a defined keep-and-remove list.

What can be collected?

Stored furniture and household clutter; Boxes, packaging and unwanted items; Non-hazardous garage contents; Mixed loads assessed from wide photographs. Acceptance and scope are agreed before booking.

What cannot be collected?

Asbestos, toxic or contaminated material, chemicals, clinical waste, gas bottles, explosives and unknown liquids are excluded from ordinary clearance. Specialist appliances, upholstered items and heavy materials must be identified and accepted separately.

How does collection work?

Send item and access photos with your full postcode. We assess the load and receiving requirements, agree a quote and collection slot, then carry and load only the agreed items from safe access points.

How should I prepare?

Separate possessions and tools to keep. Identify liquids, cylinders and heavy items. Show driveway access and the full garage. Do not move a heavy or unsafe item just to take a photo.

Do I need to be present?

You or an authorised person should confirm the items and provide access. An unattended collection must be specifically agreed in advance, with safe access and an unambiguous remove list; do not assume it is available.

What access information is needed?

Show the entrance, driveway and anything behind shelving. Define which tools, spares and stored belongings must stay before removal is authorised.

What affects the price?

The load, dense items, sorting requirements and carrying route matter. Unknown containers cannot simply be added to an ordinary clearance quote.

What happens after collection?

Paint, fuel, cylinders and unidentified chemicals are outside ordinary clearance. Keep them separate without opening or mixing them; discuss an appropriate specialist alternative.

Will you remove old paint and fuel?

Not as ordinary garage waste. Unknown liquids, chemicals and fuel need a suitable specialist route. Identify them before collection and do not mix them into the load.

What alternatives should I consider?

A household recycling centre can suit separately identified accepted items. For usable tools or furniture consider reuse before disposal, with no guaranteed donation service implied.

What should I do next?

Call 07912 343234, Monday–Friday 9am–6pm, or prepare a photo enquiry. Include the full item list, postcode and access. An enquiry is not a confirmed booking; wait for an agreed scope, price and slot.

01 / Good to know

Start with what must stay

Garages often contain tools, spare parts and personal possessions beside rubbish. Separate useful items and label anything that should not be removed. A wide photograph helps show the volume, but a keep list prevents mistakes.

02 / Good to know

Check for hidden restricted materials

Old fuel, paint, chemicals, gas bottles and unidentified liquids are not part of a standard non-hazardous clearance. Do not open unknown containers. Keep them separate and explain what you have so a specialist route can be discussed.

03 / Good to know

Plan the loading space

Move a vehicle only when it is safe to do so and keep the driveway route clear. Mention low entrances, shared drives and items behind fixed shelving. Dismantling or removal of attached fittings needs agreement first.
