The short answer
Useful answers, local options and the details to check.
Do you publish exact cubic-yard capacities?
Not without the confirmed dimensions and payload for the actual vans. The load guide uses approximate categories. Photographs and the actual van payload are needed to confirm a safe collection.
01 / Good to know
Single item or small collection
One sofa, mattress or appliance is an item-specific job. Several bags and one or two bulky pieces may be a small load, but the actual vehicle space and disposal requirements still need checking.
02 / Good to know
Half van and larger clear-outs
A mixed room, garage or garden clear-out can occupy more space than expected. Do not hide smaller items behind furniture in your photographs. Show the full pile and, if it is spread over several rooms, label each room.
03 / Good to know
A cage is not a weighing scale
Dense soil, rubble and wet material can reach the payload limit before the cage looks full. A volume description alone cannot make a heavy load safe. Identify dense materials separately and avoid overfilling bags beyond what can be handled safely.
04 / Good to know
Use the visual guide, then send photos
The homepage load guide can preselect a rough amount in your enquiry. Choose “not sure” if you cannot assess it; guessing a bigger category is not necessary when clear photographs are available.
