The practical details for shed clearance — before you decide to book.

What does this service include?

Unwanted shed contents and outdoor storage clutter removed, with dismantling and heavy bases considered separately.

What can be collected?

Stored garden items and clutter; Unwanted timber and non-hazardous contents; Dismantled shed materials by agreement; No asbestos roofing or contaminated materials. Acceptance and scope are agreed before booking.

What cannot be collected?

Asbestos, toxic or contaminated material, chemicals, clinical waste, gas bottles, explosives and unknown liquids are excluded from ordinary clearance. Specialist appliances, upholstered items and heavy materials must be identified and accepted separately.

How does collection work?

Send item and access photos with your full postcode. We assess the load and receiving requirements, agree a quote and collection slot, then carry and load only the agreed items from safe access points.

How should I prepare?

State contents-only or dismantling enquiry. Photograph roof, sides and access without disturbing them. Separate questions about the base and heavy waste. Do not move a heavy or unsafe item just to take a photo.

Do I need to be present?

You or an authorised person should confirm the items and provide access. An unattended collection must be specifically agreed in advance, with safe access and an unambiguous remove list; do not assume it is available.

What access information is needed?

Show the shed, side gate and garden route. State whether you need contents removed, dismantling assessed or already-dismantled materials collected.

What affects the price?

Contents-only, dismantling and concrete-base removal are different scopes. Material weight, access and any suspect roofing determine what can be agreed.

What happens after collection?

Do not disturb roofing or panels suspected to contain asbestos. Ordinary collection excludes asbestos and contamination; timber, green waste and heavy bases must be identified separately.

Is dismantling always included?

No. Dismantling, electrical disconnection and base removal need separate assessment and agreement. A shed-content clearance does not automatically include the structure.

What alternatives should I consider?

For DIY shed materials, check county recycling-centre acceptance and vehicle restrictions. Suspected asbestos requires a suitable specialist, not a standard van clearance.

What should I do next?

Call 07912 343234, Monday–Friday 9am–6pm, or prepare a photo enquiry. Include the full item list, postcode and access. An enquiry is not a confirmed booking; wait for an agreed scope, price and slot.

01 / Good to know

Contents or the whole shed?

Say whether you need the contents removed, a shed dismantled, or already-dismantled materials collected. These are different jobs. Include the shed size and condition, and explain whether electricity is connected.

02 / Good to know

Roofing needs a careful check

Older roofing or panels may contain materials that cannot be handled as ordinary waste. If asbestos is suspected, stop and use a qualified specialist. Do not break panels or try to identify the material by disturbing it.

03 / Good to know

Separate the heavy parts

Concrete bases, paving slabs and soil can quickly exceed a van payload. Show them separately from timber and green waste. The quote should make clear whether the base stays and which materials are included.

A tidy finish.

The crew removes the agreed items from safe access points and loads the van. Disposal type, weight and access are assessed before the collection.

Asbestos, chemicals, clinical waste, gas bottles, explosives and unknown liquids are outside ordinary clearance. Specialist items need separate agreement.
