The practical details for garden waste removal — before you decide to book.

What does this service include?

Branches, cuttings, old fencing and mixed garden clutter cleared in one planned visit. Tell us about soil and other heavy materials before booking.

What can be collected?

Branches, hedge cuttings and green waste; Fencing and unwanted timber; Bagged garden debris; Soil and turf subject to weight assessment. Acceptance and scope are agreed before booking.

What cannot be collected?

Asbestos, toxic or contaminated material, chemicals, clinical waste, gas bottles, explosives and unknown liquids are excluded from ordinary clearance. Specialist appliances, upholstered items and heavy materials must be identified and accepted separately.

How does collection work?

Send item and access photos with your full postcode. We assess the load and receiving requirements, agree a quote and collection slot, then carry and load only the agreed items from safe access points.

How should I prepare?

Separate green waste from timber and rubble where practical. Do not mix chemicals or unknown liquids into the pile. Show side access and heavy bags in your photos. Do not move a heavy or unsafe item just to take a photo.

Do I need to be present?

You or an authorised person should confirm the items and provide access. An unattended collection must be specifically agreed in advance, with safe access and an unambiguous remove list; do not assume it is available.

What access information is needed?

Photograph side gates, steps and the garden-to-van route. State whether the pile is behind a house, down a slope or accessible only through the property.

What affects the price?

Soil, wet turf and rubble are weight-led; branches are bulky. Keep these separate in photos so the quote can allow for carrying distance, bagging and the right vehicle load.

What happens after collection?

Green vegetation and mixed landscaping materials are not one waste stream. Ask about the intended receiving route and keep chemicals, contaminated soil and suspect roofing out of the collection.

Can you take an old fence with the cuttings?

Often, subject to condition, amount and the agreed quote. Tell us that the load is mixed and show the fence panels, posts and any concrete bases separately.

What alternatives should I consider?

Home composting or a council green-waste subscription may suit routine cuttings. Council bulky services often exclude garden waste, while DIY soil rules vary at recycling centres.

What should I do next?

Call 07912 343234, Monday–Friday 9am–6pm, or prepare a photo enquiry. Include the full item list, postcode and access. An enquiry is not a confirmed booking; wait for an agreed scope, price and slot.

01 / Good to know

Green waste and mixed waste are different loads

A pile of branches is not the same job as branches mixed with fencing, rubble and pots of unknown liquid. Show the full pile and identify the materials so we can plan loading and the appropriate disposal route.

02 / Good to know

Soil and turf are about weight

Dense garden materials can use the legal payload long before the cage is full. Estimate the number of bags, photograph their size and explain whether the soil is wet. Larger landscaping projects may need an alternative collection method.

Access matters outdoors too

Include side gates, steps, sloping paths and the distance from the waste to the van. Keep the route clear and tell us about any restricted driveway or shared entrance. Shed dismantling is a separate question, not automatically part of green-waste collection.

A tidy finish.

The crew removes the agreed items from safe access points and loads the van. Disposal type, weight and access are assessed before the collection.
